Sheaffer Balance III Fountain Pen - Glossy Black with Chrome PVD Trim | Pen Planet

Sheaffer Balance III E892 Fountain Pen - Glossy Black & Chrome (Piston Filler)

Reimagining a true design icon for a new generation of writers, the Sheaffer Balance III E892 Fountain Pen draws deep inspiration from the original 1929 Sheaffer Balance. Famous for defining a new era of writing instruments with its streamlined, cigar-shaped silhouette, this modern masterpiece brings that unmistakable heritage shape into the present. Crafted from premium glossy black resin and framed by sleek, contemporary chrome-plated PVD trim, it delivers an exceptionally crisp executive aesthetic.

Engineered for modern enthusiasts, the Balance III features Sheaffer’s most advanced inbuilt piston-filling system to date, boasting a generous 2 ml ink capacity—the largest ever in a Sheaffer fountain pen. A discreet transparent ink window allows you to monitor your ink levels effortlessly. At its heart lies a large #6 bi-color stainless steel nib, beautifully detailed with a traditional heart-shaped breather hole and a die-stamped "1913" honoring Sheaffer's founding year. Designed for longevity, the pen includes a dedicated spanner tool and a user-removable nib unit, empowering you to perform easy disassembly and self-maintenance at home.
